Active Franchise List
Clicking on the Teams button on the horizontal menu will take you to a list of all current and inactive franchises.
Each franchise also displays every name the team has competed under in their history, along with the record under each different name/location. Additionally, it shows the top performer for each franchise in AV, passing yards, rushing yards, and receiving yards. At the end of each row, it shows the number of league championships, Super Bowls, conference championships, and division titles. If you would like to only see information for the current locations of each team, you can click "Hide Partial Rows" at the top of the table to hide the sub-rows beneath each franchise.
League Championships vs. Super Bowls
In the modern NFL, League Championships and Super Bowls are the same thing. For franchises that were founded in the Super Bowl era, such as the Seahawks or Buccaneers, these numbers will always be the same. However, the League Championship column allows us to display championships for teams pre-dating the Super Bowl era. In the screenshot above, for example, the Cardinals won two NFL championships (in 1925 and 1947) but are yet to win a Super Bowl.
League Championships also include AFL championships, hence the reason the Titans (previously the Houston Oilers) are listed with two league championships, despite not having won a Super Bowl.
Inactive Franchises
The second table on this page shows a list of all professional football franchises we have data for that are no longer extant. All teams on this list went defunct in 1952 or earlier. One notable franchise on this list is the Baltimore Colts, an AAFC/NFL franchise that existed from 1947-1950. They are considered a completely separate franchise from the modern-day Baltimore/Indianapolis Colts and do not share historical records or statistics. For the same reason, players from the 1947-1950 Colts (notably Y.A. Tittle) aren't considered as having played for the Colts on Immaculate Grid games asking for Colts players.
