A frequent request that Sports Reference receives is adding missing historical players to college football rosters. While our goal is to be as comprehensive as possible, we only have complete college football data dating back to 2005. While we have a great deal of data available in the decades before that year (see our full data coverage page here), we are missing many players who didn't record such statistics, particularly offensive linemen and defensive players.

Unfortunately, we are unable to add missing players on an individual basis, but our researchers are steadily adding more information to our database, which will allow us to add more historical players going forward.
