All-Pro Designations

All-Pro Designations

Overview

"All-Pro" is not a single award. Several independent voting bodies each name their own All-Pro teams, and their selections often differ from one another. Pro Football Reference displays All-Pro honors from multiple selectors, but applies a stricter standard for the All-Pro banner shown on individual player pages.

Who selects All-Pro teams

We currently track All-Pro designations from the following organizations:

  • Associated Press (AP)
  • Pro Football Writers of America (FW)
  • Pro Football Focus (PFF)
  • Sporting News (SN)

Where to find All-Pro selections

All All-Pro designations from every selector we track are listed together on the season-end All-Pro page. For example, the 2025 season page is at:

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2025/allpro.htm

You can see different years by updating the year in the URL above or by going to a season page and using the sidebar menu to navigate to Awards > AllPro.

On player pages, a complete list of All-Pro selections (1st or 2nd team from the selectors mentioned above) can be found in the All-Pro Teams table:

When a player page shows an All-Pro banner

An All-Pro banner appears at the top of an individual player's page only if that player was named first-team AP All-Pro.

No banner is added for:

  • AP second-team All-Pro
  • PFWA first-team all-league or first-team all-conference
  • Pro Football Focus All-Pro
  • Sporting News All-Pro

This means a player may appear as an All-Pro on the season-end All-Pro page without having a banner on their own page. If you are looking for the complete record of a player's All-Pro recognition across all selectors, use the All-Pro Teams table on player pages or the season All-Pro pages.
