NBA Draft Information
A complete index of NBA drafts can be found at the following link:
That page is accessible from the Draft menu in the navigation bar at the top of every page on the site, or by typing "NBA Draft" into the Basketball Reference search bar. The table on that page lists the first overall selection of every draft from 1947 to the present. Clicking on the link in the Year column will take you to the full results for that draft. As an example, here are the full results of the 2025 NBA Draft:
Each individual draft page lists every selection along with the player's career statistics, and includes links to the drafts immediately before and after it, as well as a full year-by-year index at the bottom of the page.
Links to Expansion Drafts are also available on the main draft page.
Draft Indexes for Teams
On franchise history pages, a list of every player the team has drafted can be found under the Other section of the toolbar, labeled "Draft".
Those pages list every selection the franchise has made, along with the round, pick number, college, and career statistics for each player. Here is the draft history for the Boston Celtics, for example:
Draft Preview
Previews for upcoming NBA drafts are posted at the following link ahead of each year's draft:
Searching for "NBA Draft Preview" in the search bar will take you to that page.
Players Drafted from a Given College
To see every player drafted out of a particular school, use the Draft tool in the Frivolities section of the site:
Those pages include draft information career statistics for drafted NBA/ABA and WNBA players from each school. Use the "Select a College" dropdown to change the school being viewed.
Draft Information on Player Pages
Draft information appears on player pages in the biographical section at the top of the page. Here is an example from Cooper Flagg's page:
The team link there goes to that franchise's complete draft history, and the draft link goes to the results of that year's draft.
Draft Rights
Players whose draft rights a team holds are listed in the Draft Rights table on that team's current season page. Here is that table on the Oklahoma City Thunder's page, for example:
A full list of Draft Rights held by NBA teams can be found on the Draft Rights page, which is accessible by searching for "Draft Rights" or "NBA Draft Rights" in the search bar, or by clicking the "Draft Rights" link under the "Draft" section in the site header.
WNBA Draft
A complete index of WNBA drafts can be found at the following link:
That page is accessible from the Draft menu page at the top of the site, from links in the WNBA Seasons section of the WNBA home page, or by typing "WNBA Draft" into the Basketball Reference search bar.
The table on that page lists the first overall selection of every draft from 1997 to the present. Clicking on the link in the Year column will take you to the full results for that draft. Note that in addition to the annual draft, the index includes Elite (El), Allocation (A), and Dispersal (D) drafts. Links to Franchise Draft History and Expansion Drafts are available on the main WNBA draft page.

If a player was drafted by the ABA, this information will appear in the transactions section of their player page:
