Multiple Franchises with the Same Name
There are several instances across the sports covered by Sports Reference in which there are multiple franchises within a sport with the same name that aren't considered to be connected to one another. In most cases when one of these franchises appears on the Immaculate Grid, only players from the modern incarnation of the franchise will count.
Because remembering these distinctions for each franchise can be tricky, clicking on the team logo on the Immaculate Grid will show you all the years and team names that answers can be pulled from.
