Similarly Named Players in Immaculate Grid
There have been more than 20,000 players in major league history and naturally there are several who share a name or have similar spellings of their name. When selecting a player for Immaculate Grid, be sure that the player's name is being spelled correctly in order to enter the right player!
For example, if you wanted to enter Derrek Lee for a "played for the Cubs and Marlins" cell, first make sure you have the spelling correct and are entering the player with two "r"s in his first name and not the similarly named Twins player Derek Lee.
To help with selecting the right player in cases like this, the years of the players career are also provided next to the player's name. So if you were not sure whether Derrek Lee was spelled with one "r" or two, the years played information for both of the players (1993 for Derek, 1997-2011 for Derrek) should help clarify that its Derrek Lee who matches the cell.
