Team and Season Stat Rules
For a Team and Season Stat cell in Immaculate Grid, the player must have recorded the stat while on the listed team in order to be accepted as a correct answer. For players who played on multiple teams in a season, the stat must have been recorded with that team. Full rules for this can be found by clicking the "Rules" link above the game.
The examples below show how this category works for players who split their time between two teams in a season.
Baseball
In 2017 J.D. Martinez hit 45 home runs in a season split between Detroit and Arizona. He would not match for 40 HR for either team because he hit 16 with Detroit and 29 for Arizona. This works similarly for rate stats. For example, in 2014 Jeff Samardzija had a 2.99 ERA split between Chicago and Oakland. He would not match for ≤3.00 ERA with Oakland because he had a 3.14 ERA with the A’s (and 2.83 with the Cubs).
Basketball
Rudy Gay scored 20.0 points per game in 2013-14, splitting the season between Toronto (19.4 PPG) and Sacramento (20.1 PPG). He would qualify as an overall season and with Sacramento, but he would not qualify for Toronto.
Tina Charles scored 14.8 PPG when she split the 2022 season between Phoenix (17.3 PPG) and Seattle (12.6 PPG). She would qualify for 15 PPG with Phoenix, but not for Seattle.
In 2022 Christian McCaffrey rushed for over 1,000 yards in a season split between Carolina and San Francisco. He would not match for 1,000 rushing yards for either team because he ran for 393 with Carolina and 746 for San Francisco.
Hockey
Dave Andreychuk scored 54 goals in 1992-93, splitting the season between Buffalo (29 goals) and Toronto (25 goals). He would not qualify as a 50-goal scorer for Buffalo. He would qualify for Toronto because he scored 53 goals for the Maple Leafs in 1993-94.
Soccer
In 2021-22 Romain Faivre scored 10 goals in a season split between Brest and Lyon. He would not match for 10 goals for either club because he scored 7 with Brest and 3 with Lyon.
